I love my family.

My work is my creative outlet and my sanity.

I really enjoy fabric, sewing, crafting, photography, vintage finds, reality TV, and time with my friends and family.

I am a mother of 5 children and am married to the best husband ever.  My life and my business would not be the same without him.  When the kids are busy at school or playing with each other, I am usually on the computer trying to squeeze in my work.  My office is set-up in the center of our home and the constant surrounding activity is usually fun and always loud.  It is a rare moment that I am typing away without someone coloring in the chair next to me or, better yet, sitting on my lap trying to “help”. That’s my life and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

My career has been slowly evolving over the past 12 years and I’ve finally found what I truly enjoy.  I spent the first 10 years of my career working for Deloitte, a public accounting firm, as a CPA.  The skills I learned there were invaluable when it came time to start my own business in the summer of 2006 with my dear friend, Brooke.  Brooke & I had been talking for several years about doing something together and the timing and ideas finally came together then.  Since that time I’ve been enjoying the ride and loving my work.  Brooke and I compliment each other in so many ways and she has been the perfect business partner.  You can read her story under the “About Brooke” link on the home page.
