I don't know about you but I love to organize the crafts for school parties, help with bulletin boards and make cards for people...do you? One of my favorite things is making birthday cards for teachers and getting all of the kids involved. Even if you are not a "creative" person, which I think that EVERYONE is actually creative in their own way but that is another post, you can make this great card! Teachers work so hard and usually have our kids all day on their birthdays...so make it a special day with a great card...and some treats of course.
1. Purchase: poster board & card stock - color and white
2. Optional purchases: stickers (sparkles) & letter stickers
3. Take a picture of every child in the class (could be optional).
4. Bring in white squares of paper and have each child write a note or draw a picture to your teacher.
5. The hard part...measure out the "flaps" and used double-sided tape to stick down.
6. Use your creativity to decorate and put letters on the "flaps" to send your teacher a special message.
This should be a fun and creative project and can be accomplished in a variety of ways. Hopefully this will help you celebrate the wonderful teacher that cares for your child every day. We love our Mrs. Yu!! :)
