We have found a store that is not only amazingly beautiful to shop in...but it is also as eco-friendly as you can get! We are thrilled to be working with ecoEmporium and wanted to introduce them to you! Below is a little glimpse of their company. We hope you will visit their store in Atlanta or online.
ecoEMPORIUM endeavors to make the world and our environment a better place to live by introducing our customers to earth-friendly products with style, regardless of your shade of green.
Founded by local residents Carol and Bruce Held, ecoEMPORIUM is Atlanta's first
one stop shop for earth-friendly, organic, and non-toxic products.
Eco: The prefix eco- is used for words relating to ecology or to the environment. Derives from the Greek word "oικος" (oikos) which refers to a "house" or "household."
Emporium: from Greek emporos = 'merchant' which refers to a store selling a wide variety of goods, and for marketplaces or trading centres in ancient cities. This 3,200 square foot lifestyle store is just that, a market place, a bazaar of sorts that caters to the community and offers choices for living a greener lifestyle with style. A clean fresh palette is revealed to customers entering into the space. Filled with large antique display cases using fresh earth tones of beige, white and soft greens, you will find tranquility and a sense of calmness as you shop.Candles to mattresses, dog beds to baby onsies, ecoEMPORIUM allows shoppers to fill their homes with unique green pieces. For ecoEMPORIUM, green is anything organic, repurposed, fair trade, recycled and non-toxic. Prices will range from $5 to $6,000 allowing everyone to find something within their budget. Children, too, are welcome as ecoEMPORIUM tries to help its customers teach their little ones why it is important to give back to the environment.
ecoEMPORIUM has carved a truly unique niche in Atlanta. This is a store
that will allow customers to elevate their lifestyle while being
sensitive to our planet. A place that will reach out and open their
doors to the community, ecoEMPORIUM plans to offer "how to" classes,
organic farm fresh food events, tastings, and child focused activities.
