So Lorri always takes the beautifully artistic pictures of everything...and I just like to take pictures of strange things, in a non-artistic way. At the 4th of July parade yesterday, in our town, I found the funniest and scariest participant I think I have ever seen (a close 2nd was the lady leading a class of "Jazzersizers" in the parade). I will let you judge for yourself... What do you think? Pretty scary huh? Does that make you want to get your hair cut there? I guess I will give them props for creativity!
Now here are my kids with their crazy friends watching fireworks from the grocery store parking lot. I know, we could go to the country club and lay on the grass with the rest of our town, but we have a 7 year tradition of watching from the back of our cars in the parking lot. It is great...bathrooms, shopping and no bugs! I hope you all had a great 4th of July like we did.
We both follow the blog www.dooce.com. Knowing that Heather was about to give birth...when we heard about her baby girl's arrival...we had to send a Z. Daisy Gift Set! So we sent her the Monica Pink Set that includes a travel blankie, a set of Blankie Bungees and one Binkie Bungee. We were so excited to get a thank you post card in the mail this week! I am sure she has people doing stuff for her because there is no way she is sitting at home sending thank you notes to random strangers who send her stuff...but still...it was really nice. Thanks for the thank you card Heather!! We hope your little angel, Marlo, enjoys her Z. Daisy gifts. We appreciate the "real life" way that Heather blogs and know that others do too.
We love to read interesting blogs. There are so many talented people out there and blogging has given them a voice to the world. It is really quite amazing how you can get to know someone so well...that you don't even know! We have numerous wonderful bloggers contact us for reviews and giveaways and we wish that we could participate in them all, but we have to choose a few per month. The newest blog review is on www.born2impress.com and was just posted today. You can enter to win a Binkie Bungee by doing various "web" things that are listed at the end of the review. You can also see some of our previous blog reviews on our "Press" section of our site.
If you have a blog and want to be considered for a giveaway, let us know! You can email us at info@zdaisy.com and tell us about your blog and your followers. If you have a favorite blog that you follow, we would love to know that as well because like I said before...we love to read good blogs.
Don't forget to enter the give away...just click on the link below.
We have people ask us if our Binkie Bungees (pacifier clips) attach to all different types of pacifiers...and we are here to tell you YES!! Below is a picture of our Binkie Bungees with most of the different pacifiers that are on the market. So no matter what kind of paci your baby uses...our clips will work.
Some of the other top questions we get about our Binkie Bungees:
1. Are they machine washable? YES
2. Do they wash well? YES - they actually get softer with each wash!
3. Are they safety tested? YES - the clips and fabrics are all tested and safe for your baby.
4. Will the clip tear clothing? NO - the clips have plastic teeth that are not sharp but have
a very strong grip.
5. Can you make the Binkie Bungees longer? NO - they are the maximum length for the
safety test of a pacifier clip. If you buy one that is longer, and there are a lot out there,
they are a choking hazard and not safe according to the safety standards.
Let us know if you have any other questions! These are the perfect gift to keep on hand for that small "congratulations" gift. They are $12 at www.zdaisy.com and if you sign up for our newsletter...you will get a coupon for 30% off your first order!

It's that time of year again! I love our local flea markets - they're actually open all year round, but I'm not much for braving the winter weather. When the temperatures start to rise I definitely get the itch to be a Flea Marketer again. Here's a little inspiration (or not) for those of you on the hunt for cool stuff! Of course, I'm an idiot and didn't take before pictures... what was I thinking??!! You'll just have to trust me that both these pieces are completely transformed. =)
